What this is
Race to Credits is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, or with Sony or Microsoft. It shows how fast players on PlayStation and Xbox get through a game by their progress, using public trophy and achievement data.
What we store
- PlayStation: your public PSN online ID, your account ID and your avatar URL.
- Xbox: your public gamertag, your Xbox user ID (XUID) and your gamerpic URL.
- The ids and unlock times of the trophies or achievements you earned, your progress percent (on Xbox, earned gamerscore out of the game’s total), and the milestones we work out from them.
- The country you chose and the number of days you predicted.
- Team memberships, if you joined a team with an invite code.
Your browser also keeps a few small items so the site remembers you: a signed cookie after you verify, and a note of your name in local storage. They never leave your browser except to prove it is you. For the current tab only, we also note where you came from (a link’s ref tag or the referring website, never the full address) and send it once, with your registration.
Visitor statistics and error logs
No cookies, no tracking scripts, no IP addresses. We count page views as totals per day: which part of the site, the referring website (its domain only), the device class (phone, tablet or desktop) and, when our network provider tells us, the country. Nothing in these counts points to a person. Known bots and link previews are not counted.
We also log site events without names in them, such as “a lookup was started”, “a player registered” (with the country you chose) or “a page failed with a server error” (with the page type and a fingerprint of the error, never what you sent). Events about your profile lose the link to you when you delete your data.
Feedback
The feedback form stores your message, the category, the contact you chose to give (if any) and the platform you picked. With it we keep the page you came from (its path), your browser language and the device class. No IP address and no browser fingerprint. Messages reach the site owner in a private Telegram chat and stay in our database until they are deleted.
How long we keep it
- Your profile and progress: until you delete them (below).
- Feedback messages: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Site events and error logs: 90 days.
- Daily page view totals: 2 years. The per-minute totals behind the live view: 48 hours.
- Copies of notifications sent to the owner: 30 days.
What we never ask for
Passwords, sign-in tokens, payment details. We only need your public PSN online ID or gamertag. If a page ever asks for more, it is not us.
What other people can see
Your name, platform, avatar, country, progress percentage and the time you reached each milestone (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). We never show trophy or achievement names, descriptions or icons, so nobody gets spoilers from this site.
How we use it
To build your player page, the rankings (worldwide, by country and by team) and the world statistics. We read only what PlayStation or Xbox shows publicly, so your profile and trophies or achievements must be public for tracking to work.
Delete your data
You can delete everything we hold about you at any time. To prove the name is yours we give you a short code. Paste it into your PSN About me or your Xbox Bio, then confirm here. We read your public profile once, check the code, and then erase your profile, trophy or achievement records, progress and team memberships. This cannot be undone.
